Easy said than done, right? Not quite! Stress is part of life, everyone stresses and it is something that human beings do by nature. We cannot stop stress, but what we can do is minimize the stress. Stress can affect you in many ways, but more importantly, your performance in your examinations.
Students stress for a variety of reasons including:
They think that they are not ready for the exam or task at hand.
They are scared of failing their task at hand.
They have a lot of tasks due and they can hardly manage.
To avoid stress, or to minimize its effect, make sure that you do the following:
Constant study and revision of concepts you learn at school.
Continuous practice of examination type questions.
Manage your time adequately by developing a study timetable.
